Request to retain PSB and DBD COMMENTS in IMS Explorer toolset & IMS Catalog

Travelers needs both the IMS Explorer toolset and the IMS Catalog to retain PSB/DBD COMMENTS.

We have historical tracking comments at the top of our PSBs and DBDs.
The comments we want to keep are at the top. We don't care about the ones in the middle. We use that comment area on top to keep track of who & why the DBD was updated. It helps a lot if projects get cancelled or stalled.
We do not need to add or modify any comments in IMS Explorer. If changes are needed to the comments, we'll modify source before we add the DBD into Endevor to be genned.

In addition, we also need to store this information in the catalog for those occasions where we will be loading the metadata for an IMS Explorer project from an existing catalog vs the original DBD/PSB source.

    Hi Robert,
    Thank you for your interest in keeping IMS a vital and successful product. Software development has continuously evolved during IMS's lifetime, and so has IMS itself. We have kept pace with, adopted, and implemented many industry standard best practices within our organization, including Continuous Delivery, Design Thinking, and Agile.

    When choosing new features to add from the list of requirements in our backlog, we assess which will bring the most value to as many clients as possible and prioritize those.

    At this time, after reviewing this request for enhancement and assessing its potential value, we have decided to reject it. We think it’s a great idea and we have marked this as a futures candidate but we are rejecting RFE 58299 because we don’t feel we can deliver it within the next 18-24 months which is the goal we have set for RFE deliverables as part of our IMS Gold program. You are welcome to resubmit this RFE at a later date and we will reconsider but as I mentioned we have also marked this down as a futures candidate item to be looked at down the road.
    We appreciate your input to IMS, and we hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of IMS.
