. We're sorry for the great delay in reacting to this RFE but we are now evaluating this RFE in the Dev team. Our PARMGEN lead had these 2 questions if you could answer please:
Q1: By "PARMGEN processing using system variable support should be able to use one RTE member in WCONFIG across a sysplex. ", is the requirement asking if one RTE variables profile can be used in a global library that is called by every product started tasks running on different LPARs in the Sysplex and this variables profile contain the resolution values? In this case, if there is only one variables profile that will cater to all the LPARs, I gather this RTE member will have a generic name -- something like "//KCIPARSE EXEC PGM=IKJEFT1A,REGION=0M,PARM=('KCIRPLB1 CFG(SYSV)'?
Q#2: Or is the question for PARMGEN to support one PARMGEN common WCONFIG library (as opposed to RTE-specific today) that will contain the generic RTE PARMGEN profile, $GBL$USR and inside the profile parms. are all symbolic values?
