Need documentation on how to develop EGL Web application calling CICS programs using different languages

Each CICS server and associated DB2 database supports a single language (for example Russian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian)
Only the EGL Web application retrieves data from these different sources.

IBM Business Developer is a continuous delivery offering, and aims to satisfy the needs of a rapidly evolving market segment. Product strategy evolves and requirements are continuously evaluated against that strategy. This RFE has recently been reappraised against the wider product strategy and does not fall into IBMs delivery plans for the next 12 month. Whilst this RFE might be valid and we might look to deliver longer term, this RFE is being rejected at this time.

This RFE is more than a decade old. It might not be relevant now. Please create a new RFE if this requirement still exists. This RFE is more than a decade old. It might not be relevant now. Please create a new RFE if this requirement is not yet addressed in the product and it still exists.

The national language support is really a problem that has to be solved in a way or another in (web)applications. The worst thing is that everyone is trying to solve it by him/herself (the second worst thing is that it has to be solved again and again in different development platforms).

This is a common problem for multi-national companies. While unicode is the best solution, that isn't always an option when using pre-existing databases. Development is planning to publish an article on the EGL Cafe that will provide guidance on how to implement this.
