Ability to add customer internal software product ids via a user field

Software products are assigned product ids by the vendors. As part of our firm's internal processes, we assign resource ids to vendor software and would like to be able to add our internal software product ids via some sort of custom field somewhere within IZSAM to link them together. For example,  a user customizable field in the GKB.

    Hello, thank you for submitting this Idea, we have assessed this product enhancement and have decided to reject this request. We don't allow user data in the GKB, however recommend using the user field in the Repository Report Define Product ID. Please reach out if you have any questions or disagree with our decision.
