Workload (dynamic and static) increases rapidly and the end of the CP planning period got hit regularly. To avoid this issue some woradounds are needed and already supported by PIF.
PIF (e.g. WAPL) can create an alias occurence ids. However, the original application ID of the occurence/application is gone and it is not possible to identify the application in the database just with the occurence id. Therefore, a new field is needed in the occurrence that contains the original application ID in the database.
In addition, it is necessary to filter for the original application ID in the current plan using PIF and the 5.* panels. For example: 5.2 or 5.3 contains a flag like "display alias occurences". This allows the previous filter action to include occurrences with an alias.
