Currently, allocating a Volume in the zD&T implementation means creating a FULL SIZE Volume at initial allocation. This can create pressure on the User to allocate "up front" a LOT of space even though this space will not be needed right away....

ZD&T V13+ - Organized/Systematic zOS Shutdown

The ZDT Tools Deploy panel provides an option to "Stop emulated zOS", this does a hard stop of the emulator, not proving a graceful systematic shutdown of zOS and jes purge. If this option is selected, Tools must shutdown zOS in a organized manner.
