During the REAPPLY of changes after a CP Switch write EQQM99* Messages as I level instead of E level

Many of the EQQM991E messages are harmless, but having it as an "E" level is misleading. It would be especially helpful if the EQQM99* messages would be written as I level messages instead of E level after a REAPPLY of changes after a CP Switch. S...

New Controller Parameter that specifies in minutes how long an operation waits to start before a late alert message is generated.

We would like to be able to hard code a time in minutes that would designate how long an operation waits to start .. based on planned start time .. before a late alert message is generated. Deadlines and durations are not precise enough to allow a...

Requesting a feature enhancement related to IWS Service Now Interface. Currently within the Controller startup init parms, an INCTICKETTOKEN parm is provided for the INCTICKETCALLER to be able to connect to Service Now. The INCTICKETTOKEN is an OAuth token that has an expire date. This enhancement / Idea is in the area of OAuth token management within our current implementation. At present, the system supports sending an OAuth access token, which is inherently short-lived. However, it lacks the capability to send an OAuth renewal (refresh) certificate to retrieve a new access token once the original has expired. This limitation poses a challenge for maintaining seamless authentication and uninterrupted service access. The need for automated token renewal is critical. Without it, expired access tokens require manual reauthorization, which can disrupt workflows and reduce system reliability. We propose the following enhancement: • Enable the system to send a valid OAuth renewal certificate when the access token expires. • Automatically retrieve and store the new access token using the refresh token mechanism. • Ensure compatibility with existing OAuth 2.0 standards and security protocols. This feature would significantly improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention, especially in integrations such as ServiceNow and IWS Scheduler, where token expiration has already been flagged as a concern. We appreciate your consideration of this request and are happy to provide additional context or participate in any review or planning sessions needed to support implementation. Thank you.

Full IBM support required of OMA (OPC Migration Aid) related modules used to migrate non IBM Scheduling Tools to IzWS.

As part of a recent migration from the CA7 Batch Scheduling Tool to IBM's IzWS, a number of OMA (OPC Migration Aid) related modules, supplied by the IBM migration team, were integrated into our local environment. Noting these modules are a require...

lengthen the USRPSW field

For security purposes, password requirements have become more stringent. A requirement for a password longer than 31 characters would not be out of the question. For these reasons I believe the 'USRPSW' field in the 'USRREC' parm should be made to...

Exploit 64-bit addressing mode in zWS

We would like to request the implementation of 64-bit addressing mode for zWS to avoid potential S878 storage-related abends. Our current production zWS controller has a very large and complex batch schedule with a high frequency rate of updates. ...

Interface for non z/os users to change their TDWC password when TDWC is running on z/OS. Users do not have to use TN3270 session/TSO.

We began implementing DWC to provide the non-z/OS users (users that do not sign onto TSO & TWS panels) a view into TWS, more specifically, their applications. We have implemented in our Test environment, however, these users do have TN3270 ses...
