Our request is at the NUMCHECK compilation option ... MSG versus ABD sub-option.

When we put NUMCHECK (ZON (ALPHNUM), PAC, NOBIN, MSG), In runtime when the INVALID DATA is encountered, a nice message is added in the SYSOUT like for example:

IGZ0279W The value X'40404040 'of data item CH-INVALIDE at the time of reference by statement number 1 on line 93 in
program CB3LOTA failed the NUMERIC class test or contained a value larger than the PICTURE clause as
detected by the NUMCHECK compiler option.

    Hi,

    When using ABD, we currently issue a IGZ0278S message.

    Is it that you don't see any IGZ0278S messages at all; or is it that you want the 'value' part of the IGZ0279W message to be displayed as part of the IGZ0278S message?
