Bypass combined DBRC UNAUTH request for multiple AREAs

/DBR DB and /DBR AREA commands can issue the DBRC UNAUTH request for a list of AREAs, the maximum number of AREAs in one list being 160. When the UNAUTH request is isseued for a list of AREAs, the RECON can be reserved for a long period of time. This can cause delays or suspension of multiple IMS process requireing access to the RECON.

The long reserve of the RECON can impact the following:

1.    OLDS switch will be suspended,and all applications in this IMS will hang due to LOGL latch.

2.    If /DBR DB GLOBAL command is issued in SYSPLEX Data Sharing environment, all IMSs reserve RECON and switch OLDS. OLDS switch request will be suspended by RECON reserve too. Due to OLDS switch suspend, all applications in all sharing IMS will hung for long time.

3.    If TAKEOVER happens, TAKEOVER process will be suspended due to RECON reserve.

4.    Log Tracking in XRF alternate will be suspended, and it will cause Alternate Fall Behind condition

5.    FDBR will issue DFS4156W XCF TIMEOUT ( MSGDFS4156W ).

6.    XRF takeover delay. If the active IMS went down during /DBR DB command just after all the AREAs were closed, but before the combined UNAUTH was issued, the new active IMS will get the authorized list from DBRC on signon takeover and DBFSTAP0 will issue UNAUTH calls for every AREA. If there is a large number of AREAs, XRF takeover can be delayd.

Therefore, instead of requesting DBRC UNAUTH for multiple AREAs at once, we would like to be able to request UNAUTH for each AREA individually.
