An operator can slowly and selectively increase the amount of traffic that uses new code to ensure the code is stable.

Currently, when code is loaded to a production system, 100% of the traffic on the box can use that code. If the loadset is unstable, dumps may occur, system stability may be impacted, service level agreements may be violated, and ultimately end users may have a poor brand experience.

It would be ideal to be able to ZOLDR load code in a conditional manner such that code could be burned in before allowing all traffic on the box to use the loadset. For example, the operator could slowly increase the traffic that can use the loadset over the course of an hour while monitoring how many ECBs were allowed to use that loadset as well as how many dumps came from that loadset. Even more, the operator could control which channel can have its traffic routed to the loadset. For example, maybe traffic from mom&pop.com uses the loadset for 10 minutes prior to introducing a limited amount of traffic from reservationFloodGate.com. Implied here is that traffic could be slowly increased for each channel over time as well.
