usage of TLS 1.3 will allow for current and future users to utilize this newer more secure level of TLS. At present, based on TLS 1.3 (Transport Layer Security) Support in IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM), you are saying that PCOMM is dependent on a setting for the SCHANNEL to support TLS 1.3, at the windows layer.
Windows 11 has TLS 1.3 support in it, however according to the discussion in this site, Microsoft has changed how TLS processing/handling is invoked starting at Windows 10 1809. Please refer to this discussion, where it is mentioned towards the end TLS 1.3 doesn't work on Windows 11 through SChannel API - Microsoft Q&A
Based upon this, it is requested, that PCOMM be updated to properly support specification of TLS 1.3, so that the product will then be competing on a level playing field with almost all other TN3270 emulation products.
