This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hello,
about 4 years ago was mentioned: "We should be able to deliver this wihin a year" and dependency to Windows 10. Now Windows 10 is going sunset.
What exactly is the problem?
Hello folks,
even with PComm 15 there is no TLS 1.3 support für TN3270-Connections.
TLS 1.3 is mentioned in the "Whats new", but only for https-connections.
My idea https://ideas.ibm.com/ideas/PCOMM-I-87
was marked as "duplicate" to this one, but here also no progress is visible.
It seems that IBM always talks about high security, but does not live their own word?
I am writing to inquire about the progress of our request to enable TLS 1.3 support in the PCOMM client. As you may recall, we initiated this request approximately two years ago, and we are eagerly awaiting an update on its status.
Currently, our PCOMM version 14 does not offer TLS 1.3 support. It is crucial for us to have a PCOMM client that can seamlessly integrate with the TLS 1.3 encryption standard.
Hello, any news about this?
Are there any news about the release date of the new version this year?
We should be able to deliver this within a year.
This also depends on the Windows 10 official build that supports TLS 1.3.
Planned for future release.
Will update more details at the earliest.
