GDPS/ACTIVE-ACTIVE ZDL proxy system should support a separate PAM from target production system

GDPS/Active-Active V1.7 is delivered to support Zero Data Loss solution which requests customer to create new proxy systems with the target product systems in the same Sysplex of Site B. Because the target end systems in site B have the same volser and DB2 Data Sets name as the source end in site A to support PPRC-XD initial load, and MTMM RS3 has the same DB2 active log, archive log and BSDS name as the source end, then customers have to ensure that proxy systems have a different MCAT, OS Config and RACF DB from target product systems which is similar as the PPRC K system. Of course, they request to have a independent PAM for SA manager in proxy systems, otherwise, if in the same PAM as target systems, customers have to build up shared volumes and catalog for PAM(SA/NV related datasets) which is really terrible design in architect and hard to maintain. Then customers issue this requirement that GDPS/ACTIVE-ACTIVE ZDL proxy system should support a separate PAM from target production system.

    After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming release because it is not consistent with the product architecture and our strategy for future releases.
