Let the GDPS automatically perform the 'FCWITHDRAW FC1' if it detects that the extended groups are filling up.

We currently have an GDPS MGM3SITE configuration and are thinking about defining FC1 disks to be able to perform 'recovery tests in Region B' without affecting the GM copy. FC1 disks are ESE.

In testing of filling Extend Pools in TEST environments, it has been detected that filling the Extend Pools is very dangerous, and could even leave the control unit blocked. We think it would be interesting to be able to configure automatic action in the GDPS in the event of detecting that a dangerous occupancy threshold has been reached (ideally, it could be configurable). We already have in mind that FCWINDRAW will cause the corruption of the Flashcopy and the possible crash of the 'recovery test' systems, but that would still happen (in addition to the possible GM copy cut) if in the end the Extend Pool is completely filled
