This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Z Software products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

here is a question from CEB customers, they are now using web support, and they are complain that there are too many transactions for a single http request, eg, CSOL, CWXN, CWBA, and they use FOR as well, so there will be mirror transaction to read/write the file.so they wonder if we could provide a way to reduce the number of transactions, I introduce the feature of “bypass cwxn” to them, but they are currently in cics 4.2, and will upgrade to cics5.2 in this month, but “bypass cwxn” is available on cics53, as I checked, so they wonder it this could be applied in a ptf, so that they could take advantage of this

We have no plans to backport this major change in CICS TS 5.3 to CICS TS 5.2. We suggest deploying web owning region(s) running at CICS TS 5.3 level communicating with cics ts 5.2 regions.
